Dear friends,
It is with great joy and deep emotion that I present to you a transformation that has been maturing in my heart for a long time. You may have noticed that our e-shop has a new logo and a new name. Milujeme Jogu (We Love Yoga) is changing to La Elly.
## Where did the name La Elly come from?
La Elly - that's Eliška. The name of my mother, the most important woman in my life and the root of everything I create and pass on today.
Eliška was the woman who taught me everything I put into every piece of clothing, every yoga lesson, every word I speak to you today. She taught me to create from the heart, with love, in complete transparency and honesty. She was the one who repeated “Hopsasa Hejsasa” to me and taught me how to joyfully skip through life even in the most difficult moments.
When I was thinking about what name would best capture the essence of what I create, I realized that the most authentic thing would be to name the brand after the woman whose values and wisdom are woven into every fiber of our clothing.
La Elly is not just a brand—it is a tribute. It is a living legacy of a woman who showed me how to live and create with love, lightness, and dignity.
## The symbolism of the butterfly
The butterfly in our logo is no coincidence. It symbolizes transformation, the beauty of birth and rebirth.
The butterfly undergoes a remarkable transformation from caterpillar to chrysalis to winged splendor—much like we women go through different phases of our being. In many cultures, the butterfly is a symbol of the soul, and for me personally, it also represents my mother's soul, which still flits around, inspiring and protecting our field of creativity.
La Elly, like a butterfly, embodies lightness, beauty, and the ability to rise above the heaviness of everyday life. We want every woman who wears our beautiful, breathtaking pieces to feel like a butterfly—free, beautiful, and ready to spread her wings.
## Our logo and its meaning
The La Elly logo is designed with an emphasis on simplicity, elegance, and deep symbolic meaning. The warm brown color evokes earthiness, stability, and naturalness—values that are the foundation of our work and philosophy.
The flowing handwritten style of the font symbolizes a personal approach and handcrafted work, which directly reflects the way we create our clothing in a small workshop in Bali. Each piece is made with love, piece by piece, with respect for the material and the woman who will wear it.
The light stroke transitioning from the “y” resembles a butterfly's wing or an elegant wave - a symbol of fluidity, transformation, and the eternal movement of life. It is a reminder that beauty is in constant change and that each of us is on our own path of transformation.
## What is changing and what remains
With the new name comes a new visual identity that better captures the essence of our brand. What remains unchanged, however, are the values and quality we stand for:
